Hey guys. I'm the BO of >>>/sf/, a small board with a rather inactive user base, but a high quality of posts. As a member of the United Boards of Freedom (>>>/ubf/), we believe that moderation needs to be kept to a minimum if a board is to thrive. We have seen the effects of strong moderation: "Shitposts" get deleted and discussions turn into srs business, dissenting voices gradually disappear, and eventually, the board turns into a hugbox. The principle of minimal moderation has been successfully tested on boards such as >>>/k/, >>>/liberty/ and >>>/philosophy/, boards which are internationally reknown for being high-quality.
Like I said, our board is rather small, but we already have a number of good threads, including a fantasy dump (like I said, lax moderation), one of the biggest sci-fi themed wallpaper threads this side of the Mississippi and a colleborative attempt to create a hard sci-fi setting, which everyone can contribute to.
Visit >>>/sf/ today! You will not be disappointed (unless you are a big faggot, in which case you're gay anyway).
