Played this game for a while, but what really got me was how boring it felt.

You'd think a majority of the game would be spent on mixing around experimenting and stuff, but nothing happens.

Well, the author said since the very beggining it was not a sexual game, it's more of a intereactive novel about the normal life of regular 12 year olds and his friends, it does have bit of nudity and a few sex related scenes, but it's not a sexual game

For me, i think the game is exactly what you think…it's a nostalgia ride to days long past. But more than that, it's a story about growing up and moving on, that to be a boy means to experience new things and that means growing up. Even it means letting go of everything you cared about. Moving is all about using your past as a guide to a better future. If you truly loved your boyhood, then honor it by living the happy life it always aspired to have, this time as a man.

The game is kind of interesting. The art sucks though and it's not helping that the dev is a royal dick.

The maker of Shogakkou no Hibi lives in the Philippines. He and a French guy (who lives in Canada) run genkiforum.org which is basically dead nowadays.

Good old rumours. Some faleshood some truth. The reason people don't get reported to authority is we surprisingly I think we never had a child pornographer come on the site. I know it's insane, I've been on this site for 5 year and I've never had to delete cp ever. I've never seen a dark Web link, never seen any obviously cp keyword. It's insane to me.

They didn't had a copy of the website database, they had a root password that was valid for some time but got replaced as soon as word went out it was compromised. Unless the authorities were good at covering their track, they never got around to use it.

As for deleting 3d stuff and western shota. Dude it's our site we do what we want. To be perfectly honest with you : that's simply the owners taste. Some which I share. We don't like ugly realistic and creepy pictures on our site. I don't personally delete western shota because it's such an arbitrary thing. But to be honest there are plenty of other website out there that will accept this thrash. Our prohibition of creepy 3d shit, toon porn and realistic uncanny valley nightmare fodder were more of an asset.

As for why the site is slowly dying? Well there are various reason. One of which : we are a forum, forums are good for sharing doujin but terrible image board. Our doujin section was our strong point. Still kinda is. number 2: our star sharer have grown up and retired. Ucho shinjisan, they all just put up their hat on the stand and retired, boredom? Family reason? New tastes? Who knows. I'm an admin and even I don't even log on there except when there's bill to pay, patch to apply or threads to move, i haven't browsed the board in years now.

We survived our host dying, we got hacked once by someone who used our host as proxy for hacking. We went through a bumpy ride. The site still exist because people still pay for it to be up. Wether the site will see a revival or will only persist until everyone agree to pull the plug isn't in my hand. I don't care what happen. I met wonderful friends through this site and I'm grateful for it having existed. It'll be sad to see it go.

It's the illustrator / flash trap. People who use vector drawing tools don't learn to draw. They learn to use illustrator. While some people do fantastic art with illustrator, it's really a minority. It's the same thing with say cybershota. They don't know how to draw and plateau off once they learned to use illustrator instead of naturally improving. They can't draw without the helps of vector art clutches.

You have to wait until a specific date for anything to happen. You get with Shugo/Chiaki/Hideaki to jerk off depending on which has the highest relationship level with you near the end of the game.

This game truly does stink, though. My least favorite thing is that the developer(s?) made all these other story arcs that you can't skip. Like in my first comment, Taka is a cock-blocking trap (even though usually traps are chicks with dicks. Taka's a runt with a cunt.)

I like that you have to build up the relationship, but with all the other stuff that gets in the way of that it sucks.
