I actually began playing for no other reason than him. I saw some fanart of Asriel on an art stream and wanted to play the game so I could actually meet him. That the rest of the characters were so interesting and the plot so emotional was just a happy side-effect on my mission to hug goatbro.

There needs to be more Chara/Asriel stuff. There's tons of Frisk/Asriel considering they spent all of five minutes together, while Chara and Asriel spent at least months together, and even got to the point where they exchanged heart lockets.

No, there were two beds.
In Pacifist, Frisk comments that one bed is a bed, and the other bed "looks so comfortable that you might never get up" which is in itself a subtle reference to the fact that Chara died in that bed.
In Genocide, Chara plainly comments "his bed" and "my bed".
