Reminder that "SJW" is a buzzword used by 16 year old nerds of the highest degree and is a blanket term applied to decent people based off of the extreme cases which are never further discussed and refuted by people outside of the community.

yeah, but everyone's gonna call us that anyway, and /intersectionality/ is too long for a board name.
who cares? just because the bulk of content is supposed to be serious doesn't mean we're not allowed to be tongue-in-cheek.

"SJW" is a term used by a large number of people to identify a particular group of neo-liberals who are obsessed with identity politics.
You can call it a buzzword used by 16 year old nerds, but that doesn't make it so.

lel leftypol moderator here, please tag your board as "leftism" "politics" etc. to increase the visibility

>>14Don't imply that social justice is 'leftism'.

Actually it only refers to the fringe extreme. You just fall on your butt and start crying when you see it being used since you think it applies to yourself.
And yes, there are a lot of SJWs. That only means insane radicals are growing more prevalent in society.

>>18don't be an autist, the social justice movement is leftist. shitty, but clearly leftist.

2 - ageism
3 - attempts at de-humanizing language
4 - unsubstantiated demonization for no other reason than political opposition
I thought the board was supposed to be "UNIRONIC" social justice? No.58
Everyone in this topic is ignorant, SJWs aren't "radials" or "part of the fringe", it clearly refers to 'warriors' ironically. A SJW is someone who doesn't actually fight anything or do anything constructive.
Also you morons clearly don't know what 'radical' means.
A radical follows their ideology to the roots, so a radical libertarian would try to fight the root causes of governmental interference., A radical feminist would try to fight the root causes of sexism (patriarchy, sexual objectification, institutionalized misogyny)
Therefore, SJWs are by definition, people who only care about the surface level ideology, but don't worry about actually solving any truly intractable problems.
No.59
>>58tl;dr If you aren't mindful of your ideology's true purpose, and do nothing but shout at people in an nonconstructive manner online, you are basically the same as SJWs

>>58>SJWs are by definition, people who only care about the surface level ideology
>by definitionwhose definition? yours?
people who focus on surface bullshit get called SJWs, but so do people who fight the root causes of sexism as you described them (try even using any of those words on /leftypol/, let alone a non-/left/ board here, and not getting called an SJW). hence why people say it's a buzzword
