You can check how the AA looks on any website with MS Gothic turned on, just copypaste it.

I copypaste it on http://2ch.en.utf8art.com when I want to make small adjustments and I don't have time to switch on Gikope, just open an AA entry and clear the text area.

Regardless which font I'm using, there are always some subtle differences compared to how 8ch renders it.

I've set my Notepad and browser monospace font (for 8ch's input box) to Mona for now, it seems close enough.

It's worth noting that simply having Mona installed changes how SJIS is rendered on the boards, the most obvious change being that everything is a bit taller.

I have problems with notepad, too. The font size doesn't seem to be correct. Try the website I pointed here, is it the same?

I won't be able to tell because I've got a global custom CSS.

Right now, I've set span.aa font to monospace, set browser monospace to PGothic, and it's back to how it was before installing Mona. The moral of the story is that the Mona font from the sticky is shit, and PGothic is the default font.

To make the reply box look identical to the AA tag, 16px size should be used. (don't take my word for it, there could be some more CSS fuckery affecting the absolute size)

Actually it works just fine for what it's here for: Letting people see AA.

I edited it a little so nobody else makes that mistake.
