This should work. Its not exactly an beginner tool, but it should work.

I don't know much either. Here's some small tips:

Ignore the error warnings

There's buttons on the bottom of the program. The glasses reveal certain characters(Useful for spotting half-spaces that don't stack together), and the red/blue symbols are to quickly copy-paste characters.

About all I know, sorry.
