What is /skill

/skill/ is for learning-and teaching- skills of all natures. Users will post requests of what they want to learn, and other users will teach it as best as they can. users can also make threads to teach. Discussion of what to learn is welcome. This is kind of like /r/ for learning (you can still make threads teaching things even if no one has requested of you)

What is the goal

the goal is self improvement through the means of learning, knowledge is power!

Alright, I know it's not exactly the most popular or well thought of skill, but it helps when you or your friends are locked out of your house or possessions, and can even net you some spare cash if you're up for side jobs.

You don't have to be illegally picking locks. Just buy locks from a dollar store and pick them, and pick locks for your friends. If you're picking the door on your own house, it's your own house, and that's fine.

And no, Canadians don't leave their doors open all the time. That's only the prairies, or anywhere other than Ontario.

On the topic of illegal performing of this stuff, it's super hard to tell if your house has been broken into, unless something is obviously missing. Also, Raking is loud as fuck when there are no other noises, and single pin picking is still moderately loud on a loose door knob.

Do I want you to steal? No, but it's info that is still information, just stay legal and only do it for people who want you to.

Hopefully there are some anons interested in plants here. In this thread I will be introducingg you hydroculture. Hydroculture is the process of growing plants without soil. All the nutrients a plant needs will be transferred through water.
What are the advantages to growing a plant without soil
>Less maintenance
>Faster and greater growth
>Reduced risk of pests and diseases
>Greater oxygenation at the root zone
>No growth of molds or other known allergens
Uses
>If you are planning to start growing large portions of plants, it is better with hydroculture before moving them to soil,hydroculture is usefull.
