Do you RP as a child in a family?

I used to do that from about 2007 to 2013

I actually enjoyed it as back then I was too broke to own my own sim and I met some fabulously wealthy american women who adored my avatar and role playing and set up a family home. I had my own skybox where I could just do as I pleased it was pretty awesome stuff. Having a family was good though but after 5 years I just got so bored and became a teenage techno freak which was interesting I finally got out of sl by registering an email address that had random letters in the name and changing my password to a ridiculously random thing. I then destroyed any way of recovering the email address I used, deleted my sl accounts. I tried to get back in last week but cant - which is good

so yeah if you rp in a family or just on child av sims post here

used to have a balljointed child avi when i made the account, switched to teenage slut when i got banned from every place that wasnt g rated, even a few g sims.

i can see how rp families can both be fun and boring. friend of mine used to rp like that on sl years ago to replace his real family which was total shit and then gave up because he was missing the real contact, real hugs etc. suicided in 09, which kinda made me sign up for sl to see what he went through.

kept him alive long enough, at least 3 and a half years according to his account. family was a rolemodel of fucked up. father was nowhere to be found, mother drank vodka like tapwater and the brother was high on crack that time. probably methzombies by now. i met his fake family in sl, really nice people apart from some eccentrics. i wouldnt have minded trading families for a week.

What I found interesting was the different ways adults RPing as children chose to play them. What I couldnt stand was the sickly sweet RP'ers and the ones who thought RPing as a child meant you should be an amusing brat. I myself RP'd it like a slightly amazed, slightly confused, somewhat amusing but fairly serious kid. I did find it curious about myself that I actually felt jealousy if the family tried to adopt other kids and would do all sorts of shit to get them thrown off the sim. LOL
