so i'm rather new and want to become the little girl. the standard mesh is awful but i read about these mesh bodies that work better for lolis.
should i go with Avatar 2.0? it seems the cheapest, but Kemono has a lot more clothes. there's also supermeshbros' child mesh body. i'm asking because i'm kind of limited with money and don't get more than 500L$ per month.

avatar 2.0 is alright but you won't really look loli since the proportions are more grown up and there aren't many cutesy clothes for it.

The kemono is probably your best bet, it has a lot of clothing support and can be made to look very small and childlike. Get the m3 head in any case. Stay ayway from the not anime bodies unless you want uncanny valley pedoshit.

There's also https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Orange-Nova-Luddi-Lamb-White/4494231 in combination with mods such as https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/DatSasu-Chibi-girl-Rikugou-A/5315722 but again, clothing options are limited.

Kemono and m3 + some hair + some clothes will cost you around 2000 L$ total, unless you gor melonbunny dresses-

About the issue with clothing. You don't need to buy clothes made specifically for the avatar you purchase. Given that both the kemono and the 2.0 have a built in alpha system, you can work with a lot of mesh clothing. Just be sure to try on clothing demos before purchasing anything and using it with the alpha HUD.

The kemono has odd proportions though, particularly with the legs. So I'm guessing that the kemono will need some clothing especially made for it.

Also, that Super Mesh Bros body you mentioned looks absolutely horrifying. Stick with 2.0 or kemono.

Forgot there's also https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/NAM-Chibi-Catastrophe-Cat-V17/5946472 and a chibi avatar from [pixel] that's sold at their inworld store, but you won't find many clothes for it and modding will be limited

>there aren't many cutesy clothes for it

What is this concept that you have to buy clothing designed for a Utilizator avatar? This is part of the reason why everyone looks the same when you enter any given anime sim.

Because hardly anyone makes loli clothes, and even if you can make some clothes fit with the alpha system, it won't look as good.

I don't think you're looking hard enough, if that's the case. I guess if someone wanted an outfit without putting much effort into making it, then avatar based clothing would be the way to go.

And pretty much any mesh clothing that doesn't clip looks fine, as the only reason you would need something designed for an avatar is if that clothing needed to be skin tight or accommodating for unusual anatomy.

I think there's merit to the guy's complaint, really. Huge baggy shit looks bad unless that's specifically the look you're going for, and even I have trouble and I'm using the 2.0, which is way less particular than the Kemono in its shape. The issue is the weird shape of the LL avatar (gigantic square shoulders, perfectly round torso, shoulderblade tumors, flat waist-hips-thighs line that expands awkwardly with sliders, etc), so anything that's even a little closer to looking like a real human body (even a highly stylized one like the 2.0 or Kemono) is gonna have trouble with a lot of the clothes made for the programmer-art monster that is the LL model.

No, we clearly need more furries and objectheads.

Fuck off, not-Maz. Your input is irrelevant here.

I find the problem more often to be that clothing accommodates for gigantic asses and huge tits. But aside from that, I've never had much of a problem finding pants, shorts or skirts for the 2.0.

Shirts can sometimes be tricky, especially tanktops, but even then I don't find it to be a huge problem. Also, I can't say I wear anything that sags or can be considered baggy.

The biggest problem I've had in terms of clothes doesn't even have much to do with the body, and that's finding clothing that doesn't clip through each other. Particularly more form fitting stuff tends to be harder to work with.

If you go for kemono, you should not be buying regular meshes. The kemono is significantly thinner than the regular avatar and the 2.0. It will not look good. Do not convince yourself it looks good. It doesn't. Also, joint deforms.

Avatar 2.0 is the body you should be going with if you want to wear default clothing. However, as people have said, it doesn't make a good little girl. More of a teenager. It's less popular and harder to dress, though- you have to look for default clothes that fit it or specially made avatar 2.0 clothes for more skintight options.

There are, however, tons of kemono clothes out there and the great thing about them is that they're mostly mod and include AO bakes. You can change the color, add designs, or retexture an item entirely to fit your needs (including alpha masking parts out.) You will end up looking like everyone else at first if you use a kemono though.

As for heads, you can try the M3 anime head, or you can look into the Zero Style body/head (found inworld). Or the Mokyu heads. Both aren't as quality as Utilizator's heads (not as many features, meshes aren't as optimized), but a lot of people find the M3 head to look bad. Like an anime fetus. You may need to learn to modify textures to use them though, since there are few mods for them.

Good luck with that.
