Pretty sure most people hate kemonos due to Utilizator, not the avatar itself.

That and the fact it becomes a all-in-one homogenous goto avatar. They're not bad, but they all wind up extremely similar.

Dark Spot Designs make a really nice twinky one.
Orange Nova makes a good one, but being a mesh body means your clothing options are very limited.
There are some decent chinchilla mods out there as well.

Easiest way is to start with something like the DSD bunny and then mod it up. It has a fair number of options out of the box which makes it easy to work with

you don't even need buy a chinchilla mod, it was originally meant to be the kani 2.0 so you can shift the nose texture up through the sliders, and bam instant rabbit.

but the look is still really cutesy so if you want something that has a less cartoony look, i prefer the DSD. though the eyes always look lifeless so i'd go for an eye mod at least, to make it livelier.
