First off, thank you for taking your time to check out /sony/, a place to talk about all things Playstation. I know most of you spend years posting or shitposting on 4chan and treated it as your home and its poster as your anonymous brothers. But with the recent controversy, Moot has shit all over anonymous posting and what is stand for. No longer can you post anonymously or even conveniently, thus those who won't take that bullshit anymore ended up here. A new home free from moot's faggotry.
While 8chan works relatively similar to 4chan, we do have some cool new features and different ways of doing stuff.
In this thread, I will explain some of the stuff and how we run things here on 8chan and /sony/. Basically a guide for the newfags.
Feel free to use this thread to test some of the new features and to familiarize yourself with the reply box.
Also, if you have any suggestion, complaint, or question, feel free to post it here.

ON MODERATION
Here, we believe in self-moderation. Meaning the community decide what is good for the board, e.g: the use of IDs. Since /sony/ is a small board with a small community, ruling it with an iron fist seems counter-productive, we all just want to have fun and funposting once in a while. If a volunteer AKA mods banned you unjustly for minor stuff, please report him to me and he will be demoted immediately. You, the user have a final say on 8chan.

TIPS & TRICKS
-The top tabs features 15 of the most popular boards on 8chan, its based on numbers of unique IPs posting on the boards. However you may add your own favorite board like /sony/ by clicking the star icon next to the board name.
-The option tabs on the top right corner let change the board CSS and .gif or .webm functionality.
-You cannot change file menu in QR. e.g: After you use youtube embed, you cannot post an image in QR, you have to change it back in the top reply box. Also, Oekaki is enable so you can doodle some stuff just for fun
-File that can be posted: jpg, jpeg, gif, png, webm, mp4. Maxs filesize is 8MB and you can post 5 files/pic simultaneously.
