No, but they pander to different tastes than the TV series do, and that rustles jimmies.

False dichotomy. It was better than Enterprise but not as good as Deep Space 9. That being said, "Better than Enterprise" doesn't do you many favors.

TNG>TOS>DS9>Voy>Ent

TOS > TNG > DS9 > Voy >Ent

However, I'd order the captains as:
Picard > Kirk > Sisko > Archer > Janeway

The first one was cheesy, illogical, and barely entertaining. Spock is a massacre.

The second one is pure shit.

Picard. Kirk isn't really admirable. He makes poor choices that somehow luck out. A very typical 1960s character of what a "captain" should be.

Voyager had some good moments. The idea of a ship being stranded at the far edge of the galaxy, trying to get home was really interesting as a premise.. but holy shit it had some terrible parts.
