thought I'd toss my ideas for lore out there to kick things off.

-Chan Space
free speech reigns. people are judged by their merits and accomplishments, and people of high standing often get away with treating their lessers like shit because they wouldn't be lessers if they weren't such faggots. Nothing is frowned upon, nothing is praised; chan sectors are run by self-made men. By and large, different dominions act independently but treat each other as family. Infighting is often petty and quickly resolved.

Aligned sites: 8chan, 4chan, many smaller chans, Something Awful

-Tumblr Space
Touting themselves as a grand collective, citizens of tumblr space are subjected to enforced worship of a number of god-queens and follow a strict code of speech, dress and manner. Their education system is based around the idea that you can be anything except intolerant. Their living spaces are opulent and excessive, consisting largely of arfully designed fridges, pantries and cooking surfaces. Due to the fear of rape, men are castrated and implanted at birth so that they're too weak to overpower the feeble, women. Cis men are seen as mentally unstable and too close-minded to be anything besides slaves, but are encouraged to accept numerous adjectives to be accepted socially. Food and blog features are the de facto currency.

Aligned sites: Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, DeviantArt

-Reddit
too soft for the chans, but cis for tumblr, reddit is the largest dominion of neutral space. Committed to peace, its denizens are paranoid and armed and as government is loose at best the people police themselves. Reformed white knights, disillusioned tumblrites, and weary channers all mingle here, watching each other closely. A 'check your weapons' policy is enforced in all of Reddit space and violence is punished by bans without warning. Culture is strong, but varies heavily by region and segregation is a budding issue. Karma decides their social standing, but they try to promote equality.

Let me give this a try.

The 8chan Empire -under the leadership of God Emperor Hotwheels- is the second largest entity in the Chan Federation, only behind 4chan, a crumbling Authoritarian Monarchy ruled by a council of Mods.

The Empire is a collection of sectors that willingly submit to Based Hotwheels, share a common culture and are subjected to the Imperial Rule. Citizens of the empire are allowed to colonize uninhabited planets and create space stations as they wish that's the equivalent of board creation, it that wasn't clear. Although this model of expansionism has been criticized for creating areas of dangerously low demographic concentration, no one dares infringe on another's freedom to claim a land (or a cluster of dead ships) as their own.

Every world develops a particular culture and tends to have a reason of being,so /k/ is the military powerhouse of the empire, developing technology and breeding/training troops; /bane/ is a world colonized by cultists of a peculiar religion who focus on interpreting and spreading a mystic message; /v/ and /a/ are the cultural centers of the empire; /sp/ produces the finest athletes and hosts the Imperial Cup and other interplanetary sports events. Naturally, there are other smaller colonies of lesser importance but still relevant: /poverty/ is a space station made up of old ships put together and prone to depressurization, where where the space-hobos live, while selling and developing crude but incredibly cheap tech. /rocks/ is a mining world. When the ruler of a colony becomes to authoritative or the populace just doesn't like the place anymore they can migrate en mass to a new colony, such as what happened to /gamergate/ and /gg/.

There is more than just the geographical divisions between the populations, of course. Cultural conflicts mean that civil unrest is inevitable and constant within the empire, but only between colonies, for no one dares raise against the Crippled God. As stated, /bane/ is a cult, but certainly not the only one. People seem to gather and form colonies about the flimsiest of topics, like fetishes and medias, and then proceed to dedicate their lives to these obscure causes. One interesting example of cult is the White Knights, who have a significant presence at the edges of Tumblrspace (for no CIS males are allowed at the Nucleus), and sporadically take on missions to spread their ideology on other places. This ones an important one. Let's break this down.

Standard Ballistic - /k/ loves it. It's still pretty commonly used.

Beam- Lasers, you kikes.

Plasma- Bolts of highly ionized matter, tears through things.

Now for more internet based weapons.

Flame- Based in the Rage Incitement Principle, Flame Weapons fire off bursts of superheated Bait in order to trigger a Rustle Reaction, thus immolation on a mass scale.

Dox- Dox weapons are used by both major factions, and are aong the nastiest weapons ever divised. Usage of these literally causes reality to start beating down on the target by building their regional chaos.

Currencies and exchange rates.

Shekels- Common Galactic, used in most areas of space excluding Inner Tumblr, the Stormfront System and /pol/-controlled sectors. The Space Jews run that whole show, and everyone knows it.

Notes- Common tumblr currency, accepted in most places outside Chan space.

Keks- Based on the Lulz standard, or Kek to Lul exchange. Lulz of course being the primary raw material export of the Chan systems, aside from Memes. But Memes are found basically everywhere.

Some areas of reddit space use Votes, which are a more standardized and bastardized form of the Note.
