Look for Los Amigos Invisibles.

Also look for the early stuff from La Oreja de Van Goh.

Sadly most music in spanish is shit, it's oversaturated with pop shit, doing the same over and over again, there's hardly as much experimentation as in other languages.

Current spanish pop music is the worst, without counting reggaeton of course.

I can tell you music is usually bad, television is on the same level or probably even worse.

I really like stand up comedy in general but unlike english speaking comedians that ones in spanish aren't as universal, they are more regional, if you're from across the border you wont get most jokes even if you speak spanish so most of it will be a hit or miss, unless you had actually lived in the comedian's country.

One thing the spanish language can be proud of is its authors, there are many good authors and books in spanish, there's also pretty good poetry around.

There are also some decent movies out there too.

No creo que sea el maestro truvador que muchas personas piensan que es, pero tiene onda y eso me basta. Personalmente, creo que escribe canciones de amor más para complacer a las disqueteras que porque le inspiren.

I don't think he's a master poet, but he certainly has "swag". His love songs are pretty silly in my opinion and to me it seems like he mostly writes them because they tend to sell.
