Well I've always made it a point not to involve myself with the prospect of friendship if I don't think it would be a longstanding friendship, so I prefer being (mostly) anonymous. If I gave people what they could believe is everything they need to know about me and that they would like to add me then, I feel many would either be disappointed/let down and I'd get adds from people I'm not particularly fond of and thus would reject them and hurt their feelings.
It's best for both worlds, I think.

Kidding aside, why do you prefer 2 over 1? I prefer 1 for a multitude of reasons, primarily the plot and Shadow Moses. I've always felt a sense of urgency when playing 1 due to the tension in the plot.
Not to devalue 2's plot in any way, it's equally as great, it's just a personal preference and I felt less sense of urgency, possibly due to the greater amount of optional dialogue and downtime. However, I don't like Big Shell as much as Shadow Moses. Plus it's a graphically superior game, sounds better, etc. Duel will always be my favorite song though.
I will say however, post 9/11 changes Solidus fight is probably better than the fist fight with Liquid. If I recall correctly without checking, he was supposed to die with an American flag falling over his body. 1 has a stereotypical final boss fight at this point. Save the girl, be the bad ass hero, etc.
Honestly Liquid is just too amusing of a character for me, he's such a dick.

But buildings aren't necessarily a good thing, well I mean in regards to beauty/aesthetics and such. I like nature; a few days ago I walked from my sisters house to a little town so I could get a bus home. I didn't have an exact route, I just knew the general direction to go in so I walked along and ended up going through alittle forest and it was so nice and I felt like if it wasnt cold I could have spent an hour or so just wandering about and relaxing.

The Jobcentre is basically a thing run by the government and when you are unemployed, you get paid money to support you, but you still have to be looking for jobs and attend appointments with them etc. They are supposed to help you get work too, but most of their help is "hey look you can work unpaid for two months at this shitty place!"

It was fun! I went to a big museum and saw lots of cool stuff including spooky mummies and the Elgin Marbles and Egyptian statues (or parts of them, but even the parts were big) and these really cool Assyrian wall reliefs and stuff.
I like history so it was pretty damn cool, I just hope I can go again and see even more.
Then i went to the launch party and the bar was really cool; they had a bunch of consoles and tabletop games, and even a Doom Piano which seemed fun. Unfortunately the place was really busy so the games weren't available to use, but I imagine if you went there on a casual day it would be a fun place to hang out.
Also I got some free merch since it was a launch party and my friends cousin (he's working on the game) was incredibly cool and put our drinks on his company tab. He was a fun guy too, he was talking about how stupid the "indie dev circlejerk" is and stuff. He also said they delayed the game by a week again but that's because they decided they were going to go through it and make it run at 60fps, which is a good reason I think.
Shame Phil Fish wasnt there :(

Well I just especially liked walking past all these big statues and structures (or pieces of) and stuff and thinking "holy shit, some of this stuff is thousands of years of old". It had a such a huge collection of stuff from all over the world; I'm pretty sure it's considered one of the best museums in the world but I might be wrong.
There's another museum nearby which has loadsa animal stuffs and dinosaur bones and I can't remember exactly but i think it has some kind of caveman but I cant remember if it's real or just a model :c
I've been there several times already though and the queue was too big. Still a pretty cool place though.

Last time I went to a museum was like two years ago because they had a spider exhibition, so you were able to touch them. I just had to go. Museums here are pretty empty usually, but I don't really have any big names around here. Mostly because I live in the "Ruhrgebiet" which is known for it's industrial stuff. So we got the biggest colliery in Germany here! We also have the "Museum night" here, which means every museum is for free that night and there are even fireworks!

I think you mean no record of how they were built.
No they Egyptians never recorded how they did it but that doesn't mean aliens had to do it we aren't sure of how a lot of buildings were built because its not often recorded how they do it but that they did it.
Also we lost a lot of knowledge there very well may be records of how they were built but they are still lost or just simply destroyed.

This is what I mean you are doubting what people can do. The great pyramid of Giza had a very large dedicated group of workers who were very skilled with stone work they built it in a time span close to 20 years as claimed by the Egyptians. They know this because of the workers graves near the pyramids. As for the 20 year timeline it is entirely plausible but to many people repeat the lie that it couldn't have been done so no one can believe it and there have been studies done which show it could of been completed in 10 years.

The weathering on it isn't very consistent at all but radiocarbon dating it put it built around an average of 2985BC for the year which is fairly close the actual reign of Khufu and not the ice age.

There are lots of things we can't build today which we have built in the past and that's because our way of building is not suited to make things like the pyramids. Not to mention the Great pyramids weren't the first to be built and well a lot of the earlier attempts were not very good and had problems so they had a lot of practice to get it right. Pyramid building is what they did and there are about 118 pyramids I think they got good at it.
Gods were invented to explain the natural forces of the universe and that is why there tends to be a consistency among Gods not Aliens coming down to teach us how to build. Till I see direct evidence against it I will believe in humanities ability to do great things when they want too not just It had to be the Gods or Aliens helping us out.

Well, it's easy to say what kind of features you want in your game, but it's a lot harder than it sounds. If he sees how much work it is he will probably back out. You should always start with small things. If you already want to make your first game the best game ever you will just fall and land on your face.

I can't imagine that'd be fun at all except character/world design, and even then converting that art into the game doesn't sound too fun either.

I think it's part of the /v/-hivemind where they all feel they're vastly superior to every human on the planet and thus know how to make the greatest game ever created.
The reality of it is most of them want to be "idea guys" with no skill set whatsoever. Presumably they are this way because working like a functioning adult simply isn't acceptable.
