i would argue that imperial knights are kind of the inquisitors in rebels

but i wholeheartedly agree with you op that they should have been kept in canon. yet another actually good thing about the eu that is now swept under the rug.

Inquisitors have, at least the new ones, that "look i'm baad, i'm evil, i'm a saturday cartoon villain" look.

Now the some imperial knights have that "look how we're better than the jedi/step back civilian" edy, but the organization as whole avoided that.

They look like that because they're literally saturday morning cartoon villains.

It does kind of suck though, the knights are cool looking and you'd think a less transparently evil secret police would have an easier time going about their business.
