I just thought she was a shitty character. So grumpy, bitchy and resentful. She was unhelpful with her vague comments and sort of ruined alot of Kotor 2 for me.

Could you kindly explain why that is? It's not often I see someone who dislikes The Emperor.

It's not bad. I can understand Vader > Sheev, although I sort of had problems nominating either of them myself.
Actually the most surprising thing is it took this long for someone to post a lightsaber as as Fav. Weapon.
No.10834
>>10829
i don't dislike the emperor per se, in fact i think he's a fascinating character and easily the best part of the prequels. i'm just not a big fan of him as a sith, and when i look at other sith as well he's low-tier in my book. also i can't put kylo ren in that spot since he technically isn't a sith, lel.
>>10832
well it was either the lightsaber or the e-11 for favorite weapon, though i do like the other choices in this thread.
No.10838
Hastily thrown together with Preview for mac on a bull hit computer. Aftermath just represents the nuking of the EU, hard to translate that into one image. And also hard to find a picture of MaRey Sue fighting Kylo.

Although I like Rey as a character (I'm one of the few it seems), I agree with you in saying that the final fight scene was pretty shit.
No.10842
>>10839
The reason I hate that fight so much is because Rey's bullshit force mastery actually ruined Kylo for me. I could see past all the flaws of the character until that point and I thought he was gonna be a half decent villain for the rest of the trilogy.
But I'm interested to hear why you like Rey without hearing muh female lead, muh feminism, or you like her because of some theory that may or may not be true.
No.10843
>>10842
She's definitely not as good a character as Luke, Han and Leia were in the original trilogy but I felt that she was much more likable than Finn. She seemed like she could handle herself (while not being a feminazi freak) and showed respect to legends such as Han and Chewie (which Finn didn't). Basically, she seemed like a refreshing new character in an ageing franchise.
No.10846

>I felt that she was much more likable than Finn
not the anon you responded to,
but i seriously don't get how people think this. rey has no chemistry with any of the rest of the cast and is basically a solid wall with legs.
also she completely friend-zones finn, despite his efforts to rescue her at the minimum earning a kiss and not some hug bullshit.
rey is reycist (ha, get it?)
No.10847
>>10846
There's not much chemistry between the new cast anyway. Finn and Poe give off this really cheesy, gay vibe despite only knowing each other for like 5 minutes.
Also, Finn was a lying coward who deserved to be friend-zoned. He'll probably come out as homo in the next film.

Honestly, the fact that Kylo is something of a robot in true /r9k/ fashion endears him to me somewhat.
>>10932
Dooku was vastly under used in the movies. He shows up what an hour and a half into Clones? If you're going to hire Chrisptoper godamn Lee, make good use of him. That and I think more could've been done (in the movies and other mediums) to portray him as a someone who thinks he's really doing the right thing. We got this a bit in episode 2, but in other stories he's literally Dr. Claw, sans fluffy cat to pet. Cartoonishly evil, rubbing his hands together with Sheev. He's just a lot of missed opportunities.
No.10963
>>10957
this
While Dooku is mischieving and tries to stay hidden during the assassinations in AOTC, he is written and played as a character that should have been there as early in the movie as possible.
And while he's not explored a lot further than just the Fencing old count he is, his greater presence in TCW is still great.

>kylo ren isn't a sith
Well since his background is at the moment very basically hashed out, I view him as a "wannabe-Sith/Vader groupie, close enough" but that could change later with more information.
Anyway as to why he's there, that's fairly obvious…
Although if you must have a pure Sith then that's a little harder, honestly a lot of them had moments of severe retardation. Maybe Sheev.
>why like dodonna
I guess it's just a nice little arc. Here's a guy who served his time, got disillusioned with the way his government was behaving, and quit with no intention of ever doing anything martial again. Turns the Rebels down (doesn't even really like them), the Empire stabs him in the back anyway, he escapes anyway by the skin of his teeth and makes them pay for that rather handsomely. He doesn't become a superhero with plot armor as a result, in fact he ends up becoming a POW shortly afterwards.
>why dislike daala
Just don't like her.
I'm honestly more surprised someone hasn't asked "Why BoSS?"…
