The issue isn't me believing the dumbass theory, it's that people think Snoke is the same person as Plagueis, which doesn't make any fucking sense just by looking at him. I'm not even sure where the theory came from. They're obviously not the same race.

ok now it's time for me to explain why this theory is wrong

as i said before, the whole "snoke is plagueis" theory came about because some dingleberry noticed that the track "palpatine's teachings" and the track "snoke" both have similar shit going on (they first tried to say it was the same but i knew right away that it wasn't).

now, let's dissect just exactly what these fags are talking about. both tracks open with a very low male choir singing one very low note. palpatine's teachings is just one note, with some synth-y water glass type shit going on in the background. the snoke chant starts on one note going for a bit and then breaks into multiple notes.

now, here comes the wind-up as to why they aren't the same person:

the music that plays during sheev's tale of darth plagueis isn't the low choir chant. the low choir chant is actually the ballet/opera thing that anakin and sheev are at. futhermore, what's on the album and what plays in the film are entirely different from one another, and nothing else on the snoke track sounds remotely similar to either. also, even though plagueis was a muun in the old eu and now is nothing more than a name, snoke is an ancient human, having lived for well over a thousand years. so until we get some new backstory on plagueis, the muun is all we have.

now, for the kicker that completely derails this theory:

the dead don't return to life in star wars. furthermore, sith don't even get to come back as spirits. this is from george's mouth (always has been what he thought of shit) and was fully canonized in the clone wars, which has carried over into the disney canon as well. that classical spirit transfer move never existed in george's headcanon and certainly doesn't exist in the disney eu either. i also highly doubt sheev would have that sound and smile of satisfaction had there been the slightest chance of plagueis somehow living.

so yeah, that's about it. fucking casuals jumping all over these stupid theories

Who says it can't happen? If someone is powerful enough and dark enough, it could easily be written in. Plagueis could have tricked Palpy, as the master always seems to be tricking people dumb enough to follow them.

I thought a while back, and still think Snoke could somehow be Sheev himself.
