What kind of jedi do you think Rey is? Guardian, Sentinal or Consular? Or is that stuff no longer canon?

By the way, it is pretty much impossible to find an image of Rey holding the lightsaber in TFA.

She seems to have a wider variety of skills than what would be the norm for a Guardian or Consular. Mechanical stuff, slicing, and such, are typically trademarks of the Sentinel.

That said, she's probably going to become such a Mary Sue, she's ALL THREE AT THE SAME TIME.

Providing that she has continues her mary-sue streak but they'll probably justify it, I'm going to say she's going to be a guardian.

I'm calling her a mary-sue now, but there were some points in which I liked her. It's just that point WHERE she beats Kylo Ren that I find a bit odd.

There are some good arguments that prevent her from being a Mary-Sue, but there are arguements that justify her being one.

I lean from side to side at the time. I saw the movie twice, yeah go ahead, make your Jew jokes, you /pol/fags and I do have my theories that could PREVENT her from being a mary-sue.

I might also know what might happen to her in the next film

Rey beating Kylo didn't bother me so much for a few reasons. Kylo didn't look particularly skilled with his lightsaber either, watching the fight it seemed like both of them were using their swords more as big sticks than wielding them with any sort of true finesse. He took a bowcaster shot to the side, which was shown to kill or brutally fuck up everyone else it hit, he's stumbling and pretty fucked up the whole time afterwards, has to go through Finn, and THEN has to deal with Rey. Her coming out on top with some aid of the force isn't too hard to swallow. And a couple other reasons.

The only thing that REALLY bugs me about Rey is the obvious 'stronk womyn' shit they went for at the start.

she really didn't though, she barely made it off the ground and fucked up nema outpost. there's also a moment where she scrapes the falcon against the side of a star destroyer. the rest is her using the computers in the ship, total luck and whatever her piloting skill from the fudge speeder thing is.

if han was piloting the falcon, he would have gone straight into space, not stuck around on the planet.

Try driving a fucking motorbike for your whole life, get your hands on a fighter jet and fucking try to tell me that you can pilot that shit, and NO the computer cant outrun the two TIE's the way Ray did, and LUCK?? That chasing sequence was absolute garbage, she would have gotten exploded by the TIE's the moment she was warming up the engines in the Falcon, but no PLOT ARMOUR and she magically Mary Sue's her way out of it
