Sign this petition for George Lucas to come back to direct Episode 9! Wether you want him or not; there is no way I want to see the director of Jurassic World (with the amount of CGI used in that movie) to direct the finale of the new trilogy.

well I do hope he does come back to at least help. Colin Trevorrow the supposed episode 9 director (who has written the script) says that he is aware of the petition.

Haven't heard anything from Lucas yet of what he thinks about returning.

The last time I signed a petition concerning SW was to have another director take over Attack of the Clones and the as-yet unnamed third episode. That didn't work out to well. But I'll sign a restraining order barring Lucas from coming within 50 feet of a Star Wars project under penalty of imprisonment.

I'm not that guy, but yeah the worst thing about the Star Wars franchise was George Lucas. Everything that was good about the OT was done by others (SFX, editing, writing, music, directing) and the actors changed every line of dialogue to make it sound halfway palatable.
