I want to get something straight here.

I am reading through the EU (not the NEU, the AU, or whatever) and all along I am hearing how Lucasfilm is approving and contributing to almost every single novel and comic that is being produced. My question is, are there any novels or comics that were not approved or collaborated upon with the help of Lucasfilm?

Finally, how can people dismiss the EU as being "convoluted" or "worth getting rid of because it is all over the place" when internal consistency was maintained by the Holocron that was explicitly used in order to prevent reboots and keep the story coherent?

because disney has now pushed their non-film shit onto the casuals, whereas lucas let the real fans (aka us nerds) discover it for themselves.

that being said, so far the only official material that's non-canon is that korean comic that alters episode 4 a bit. that's all i can think of anyway, that and battlefront '15.

furthermore, as i said before, casuals are now actually taking notice of EU material, and figure that if disney dumped it, it must have been shit, hence this growing hivemind that the eu was garbage anyway and disney did us a favor, etc. they also had basically no idea who pablo hidalgo and leland chee were before 2013.

unfortunately for us fans, our only real hope of anything decent in this expanded jewniverse is those two mentioned above and dave filoni. the other shitty part is that they are all basically fuckboys who do as KK says. kathleen kennedy may at one point have been more competent about quality canon material, but more likely bob iger squashed that out of her and made her his SJW puppet.
