You'd think he would have used this technique at Yavin.
Though this is besides my point anyways. The point being that there is nothing interesting about it. It's just the same psychic powers with big explosions that we've seen a million times before. I don't know, maybe I'm just pissed at the way Vader is presented in this comic. Throughout the movies Vader is depicted with a certain in-humn refinement. Remember that scene where Vader chokes out Ozzel through the tv screen, he doesn't even move a fucking inch in that scene. Part of what makes his presence so imposing and intimidating is that he is rarely shown making any real human effort, which is only enhanced by the fact that we never see his face (until he's redeemed), it's like he's beyond all that menial shit.
Throwing him into a contrived situation like this that forces him to take action just seems to undermine what makes Vader interesting in the first place.
