That moment when Kylo Spaz finds out his film won no oscars

Ouch, also John Williams got nominated for the 50th time, he's only behind Walt Disney now, but lost to Morricone for his Hateful 8 score.

Shows the academy have some brains left. Though maybe it's that the hype train is over and people are already forgetting this corporately-made disposable nostalgia baiting pile.

morricone absolutely deserved that award

tfa's score is the worst star wars score ever, which is due to a few things

1 - shitty nostalgia, forcing williams to rely on old cues and create hardly any new music

2 - williams had some health issues during writing/recording

3 - it isn't the lso, some sony bullshit with a bunch of session musicians, and not a full-time orchestra

You know, I haven't heard too much about Episode VII now. I can't tell if that's expected for movies now where movie goers attention spans are even shorter or under all the rave reviews it was at that point of being average that it's forgettable.

Good, I thought it was boring as fuck.
