Not a big fan of it. The whole 'le secretly ur a jedi' thing put me off. Although yeah the kid is learning, and the fact that it's a Disney Kids show I would say really narrows down what can be shown, and the whole "A-Team" style violence where they bring tons of guns but never actually really kill anyone doesn't seem right in star wars.
But an interesting tidbit-
Most Stormtroopers don't actually die from blaster shots, their armor saves them; but they just end up incapacitated at the first shot.

Not from the show however, the wiki said it. Then again, most of the storm troopers got piked by Ewoks or the ones that got blasted had no hope of getting medical attention and probably died.
But what really gets me mad is how, fluff wise, Stormtrooper Armor is basically impenetrable by most slug throwers but of course a fucking slingshot takes it out.

Even if it is set in closer proximity to the formation of the Empire (Apparently the "Empire" as it was officially known only existed for like 17 years from Order 66 to Endor before it became the remnant), most of the Storm Troopers would have been human recruits and not clones, but that actually might be a good explanation because THE CLONES WERE BREAD FOR WAR.
If you really want to see some fucked up shit, there's a really good parallel between how Black Soldiers were led by white officers in the Civil War (and couldn't mingle with said officers) and the Clones and the Jedi.
tl;dr- Yeah. The Empire's powerlevel is seriously nerfed in the series.

This has been the single most cancerous factor in the creation of Star Wars products ever since the prequels.
I remember how even when I watched the prequels as a teenager, and when I was still impressed with the visuals and designs, I was irritated with how the movies suddenly switched between grand battle scenes, awkward, infantile and cringeworthy attempts at slapstick humor, and dark, brutal scenes where people get ruthlessly murdered.

Imperial Navy does what it has always done. Great at large-scale battles, but when the battles are less than a few ships in size they become either overconfident, or their slow speed and bulky vessels begin to hamper them.
As for the mere few fighters they could deploy, this could be for one of a number of reasons, including having deployed the majority of their force before the scene takes place to increase air-patrols.
Not to mention that due to the current size of the rebellion, one transport might be a very sizable portion of their battle-capacity or supplies.
