The minimum falcon has less cargo space than a Semi Truck's trailer so he has got to smuggling something with good profit ratio.

Yes I can, since Kessel is close to an black hole cluster called The Maw and traveling using hyperdrive is harder for most pilots due to the Gravitational attraction the black Holes , it takes a greater distance to complete the Kessel run since they have to get away from them , but due to his piloting skills and the Falcons top notch computers he managed to complete the run in lesss parsecs because he actually went closer to the black holes

Is it? We barely saw the interior of the ship. Only the cockpit, turrets, some corridors and the main passenger room. The cargo hold was never showed.
