Great games so far troopers.

I adore the Jedi Knight/Dark Forces series (Maybe less Mysteries of the sith for some reason) but my Favourite star wars game of all time might be First pic related.

Ep1 Racer is a legendary game with one of the best feelings of speed ever to be in a video game.

Also call me a faggot, but I think Outcast is superior to academy.

I prefer outcast, mainly for the sake of it being a continuity to Kyle's adventures and not a couple of side stories.

I think the major upside to academy is that blaster pistol skin (Don't get me wrong, the bryar pistol is fantastic, but nothing beats the DL44)

Why? The lack of charming FMVs? I honestly liked MotS more than Outcast, the entire series is top notch though. Dark Forces is also underrated, it didn't have lightsaber combat but it was a really great old school shooter. I think the lightsaber made the standard weapons quite useless in the subsequent games, more and more for each game. Which is a shame because they were so much fun. The concussion rifle is one of the most satisfying weapons ever.

Still technically impressive. I played the Xbox version locally with some brews a few months back. It kept a steady 60 FPS w/ three players and a ton of shit going on. And the AI is actually pretty competent.

The closest was either KOTOR or BFII.

The thing is, KOTOR was really detached from the films and almost felt like another universe and BFII got stale very quickly.

I had that Star Wars Shadows of the Empire game on N64 when I was REALLY young, but man that shit was just not "kidfriendly". I used to shit my pants at the Wampas(the ice monsters that live on Hoth I think thats the name). Ended up returning it because I could never progress lol.

debating whether its worth giving it another run or if the graphics will just feel too shitty.

One thing is for sure though. With the new movies that are coming out, we BETTER get a bunch of new fucking games.

Most of the best fucking games came out in the early 00s when the prequels were coming out. I'm still fucking pissed they turned Knights of the old republic into some fucking MMO shit. Who the fuck wants to play these MMOs where it just rewards the guy that sits on their all fucking day and has no life. Warcraft 3 did the same fucking shit. A great fucking franchise, and then they just decide to turn it into a fucking MMO faggotshit.

you're best off pirating the pc copy because n64 emulators aren't in the best shape now, and sote was one of those games that didn't run terribly well.

also, we are getting loads of new mobile games, you won't see another AAA title announced until rogue one releases at the very least.

As far as I know, the PC version of SotE won't work on modern platforms, even with a workaround. Also last I checked, the N64 emulation was on-point.
