I see nothing in that article indicating he was supposed to be the lead. He's also in his late 40s where as Boyega is 23.

Craig would have looked INFINITELY more appropriate in Gleeson's role. THat skinny fuck looks like a teenager who found his dad's coat and is hiding in it. His arms weren't even in the fucking sleeves.

Craig, in that role, would have been the fucking perfect villain. He's got a great face and demeanor for it.
