Apparently it's not a popular opinion here but I think the concept of hellbent crusaders seems pretty cool. Adds a little more dynamic to it then just trying to be as evil as possible. A villain who thinks their actions are justified and morally right tends to be better then one who is all about power. Definitely could end up being a shit addition to the movie but the Knights of Ren are probably the part I'm most interested in. Dunno why them being based off of nazis is such a terrible thing, it worked in Last Crusade.

>Jew in charge of movie

>White Christian nazi men are the ebil villains

>Degenerate machete rape enrichers are the good guise

It seems pretty intredasting to me as well. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. I like the idea of the villains being motivated by passion instead of just being evil for the sake of it.

White christian nazi men essentially were evil villains and the degenerate machete rape enricher population only adds up to 1 so far. So yeah good guy I guess

>it worked in Last Crusade

Ah, pre-/pol/ society. Nostalgic feels.

 No.7217

I guess they're kinda cool, but I hope at one point in the film Luke comes in and fucking kills them all.

Luke isn't in the movie at all. They find him at the very end, basically ending with a cliffhanger.

i think the dude on the left has a gun for his arm

They'd be alright, I guess, if they dropped the goofy "Knights of Ren" name. Just call them Imperial Dark Adepts, or I dunno, Imperial Knights.

Oh, wait. That's EU stuff we have to be "original". Like Disney gives a shit. Fuck Bob Iger.

 No.7496

I'd rather they'd just drop the rebootquel shenanigans and adapt the Thrawn trilogy instead. JarJar did the same thing with the Star Trek film, it's like a sequel but it's also a reboot, ain't I clevur guise?

>>7211

Pre-SJW society morelike.

 No.7497

>>7496

That's hoping for entirely too much. Adapt a novel series!? A GOOD one!? Don't you know that JJ Abrams only does ORIGINAL films?

…Christ, that last sentence made me bleed from the eyes.

Does not even understand the sith, the dark side, or the force.

Kill yourself nerf herder.

 No.8115

Imperial Dark Adepts is a fucking stupid name.

Who the fuck puts WE ARE EVIL right there in their name?

 No.8119

… the sith?

And the title of Dark Lord was one of the dumbest things in the prequels.

I can't be the only one who remembers Darth Vader in the OT as that guy none of the other imperials trusted specifically because he was a crazy dude in a black cape who ranted about dark powers while they tried to get shit done?

If you're building a non-sith order outside of one fanboy it's probably a good idea to make it so your allies actually trust you.

 No.8132

>>8131

pretty sure "dark lord" predates the prequels

a lot of those helmets look like modified Mando buckets.

Going from Left to Right on the first one

>Mando-esque

>Mando/Ren style

>the material on his helmet acts like the top part of Vader's helmet.

>Kylo, not much to say, we've covered it. Revan esque.

>Mando T-Visor, the lower half instead of still being visor is some sort of segmented metal

>This one reminds me of the Sith Mask from those SWTOR trailers from Blur.

>Very middle ages looking.
