no, only the stuff put on screen by Lucas was.

Splinter was made to be the movie sequel to ANH if it bombed at the box office, it was designed to be low budget (Han isn't there, all the events would be pretty cheap to film) and when ANH was a hit the idea was permanently shelved.

Yes, EU canon anyway.

It wasn't really. Force crystals never really became a thing in the EU as far as I know. Anyway, I like it as it explains why Vader was super pissed by ESB.

by force crystals, you do mean those things that are put in lightsabers yes? if so, they had quite the expansion in the eu, and had episodes in both clone wars series based around them. fully canon.
