Even if Vader stayed loyal to Sheev, wouldn't they have both died five minutes later? The entire Luke/Vader/Sheev arc is kind of irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

when was it confirmed sheev was using battle meditation? he was too busy kekking while vader and luke dueled each other.

also no, the core was destroyed long after sheev was kill, remember luke managed to get all the way down to the hangar from the emperor's tower

I guess this also a good reason to why the "legion of best troops" got rekt by Ewoks. Sheev was too preoccupied with his dark side shit and the meditation was losing it's effect.
