his biggest annoyance was that nobody knew who he was before star wars, and an entire generation of movie-goers only knew him as obi-wan kenobi, not the sandnigger prince in lawrence of arabia, not the british general in bridge on the river kwai, or (his own favorite role) adolf fuckin hitler.

Later on he felt that the film was the right choice. He was kind to everyone on set during production and he made a ton of money that allowed him to live well for the rest of his life and work on smaller, more personal stuff.
