Woomiepedia still uses EU material in a lot of important articles.

I can't wait to see that place plunge into chaos once the new movie drops.

I'm just glad they retained all the old stuff under the "Legends" title. Sometimes it's nice getting lost reading articles.

>mfw imagining an alternate universe where they deleted fucking everything to fit in line with the Disney canon

They probably just won't even include the new trilogy info on the 'Legends' sections. It's quite apparent that they care more about the EU then Disney's new canon, they've completely disassociated the name 'Sheev' with Palpatine on his Legends section.

 No.7887

Won't there be a cannon 1 (the one before Disney) and a cannon 2 (the current one) ?

That would make the most sense, only current cannon would be cannon but old information would still be available for access

 No.7906

Also glad it defaults to the "Legends" continuity. Just switch between the two categories and you'll see how barren the "true" canon is after Disney nuked everything. Makes you appreciate 30+ years of universe building a whole lot more even with all the crap that came with it.

Old canon = Legends; Disney canon = canon

Some have gone on to call Legends = Expanded Universe (EU), Disney canon = Alternate Universe (AU) just to voice their disdain for Disney's decision.

i'd say it has more to do with the overall lack of content in the new/alternate canon, considering the first shit didn't start until last year with rebels.

i mean, if wookieepedia is going to be this based and clearly favor the eu over disney, i'm content with that as well, it's such a dick move to just wipe 30 years of content away because disney knows they can't compete.
