i have no doubt that luke will have a new jedi order going, and kylo being one of his students/nephew, but something lures kylo away from the jedi (perhaps finding out that he's vader's grandson) in the vein of say, kyp durron and exar kun's spirit on yavin, and basically we get that flashback massacre thing, and kylo is some kind of tainted soul who knows he can't go back so he stays evil and with the knights of ren.
