>muh teddy bear tribe

>muh falcon, I'll never see her again

Why was he such a boring fag during RotJ? Should've kept his ass frozen and left well enough alone.

The more I rewatch RotJ the less I like it.

Pic related is pretty much the only thing that keeps it above RotS.

The space battle is pretty good.

And Luke entering Jabba's palace is probably my favorite scene in all of Star Wars.

the more i watch rotj the more i think it's above empire strikes back

The death star scene, though cool in dialog and visuals, is really illogical.

The Emperor's plan is to get Luke to kill his father after killing all his friends, which is kinda unlikely isn't it?

Then, after telling Luke to kill Darth Vader and Luke refusing, he is surprised that Darth Vader picked him up and threw him down the shaft.

Sheev had been consistently duping everyone in the galaxy for like 50 years, the thought of someone not just blindly following him probably never even crossed his mind.

 No.8236

I would've said it was heresy as a kid, but Harrison Ford was right. It would have been a much more meaningful and better move to have killed Han off at the end of Empire.

That being said, Return of the Jedi is a solid movie in spite of its flaws. I like it better than Empire.

>>8236

Nope. Now they'll just have to do it at the end of Force Awakens, when Han is irrelevant as a character and the audience can see it coming from a mile away.

>threw him down the shaft

How is someone who can fling senate pods around like candy not able to force-levitate himself right fucking back out?

Vader probably broke the nigga's spine with his autistic retard strength.

It was the will of the Force.

This will be treated as heresy of a kind never seen before but…

I've never liked Empire. At no point in my life, and I've been watching that movie as long as I can remember. It's never turned my crank.

Outside of the Dagobah segments and the duel on Cloud City, I basically zone out while watching it.

Honestly RotJ was the weakest of the OT. Best parts were everything that didn't take place on Endor, and despite the great effects and space fight, it was still weak compared to the first half of the movie on Tatooine. That shit was great. Everything else not so much.

 No.8404

>>8262

Yeah, if it wasn't for the shitty bits on Endor, it'd be better. Still good, though.

 No.8406

Same

The movie is grimdark shit
