Life on ancient (relatively) Coruscant, when interplanetary travel was first starting up.

Make it a political thriller about the struggles of starting up a galactic government. Think Star Trek Enterprise but in the Star Wars universe.

For the fanboys: the captain of the ship (going full Star Trek, the bulk of the movie is on a ship) gets rescued from a danger by a new recruit when this happens

A crime lord calls in the debts of a single mother and keeps her as a slave. The son needs to rack up fifty thousand credits to get her back. The local imperial garrison is abuzz and rumors have it they have something really big and valuable moving through.

The teenaged son needs to assemble a crew of thieves to steal whatever that is. It turns out that "whatever that is" is Yoda's holocron. Yoda's holocron which contains priceless jedi knowledge the empire does NOT want circulating.

The empire decides to do this the easy way and just pay them ten times what they want to get it back. But the thieves need to decide if they want to sell something so precious and if the MC's mother can last any longer.

It ends with them exchanging the holocron, which is revealed to be a fake. They fly off into the sunset and the last shot is a silouette of skywalker with the holocron.
