I think now mostly collectors are buying the figures in hopes of variations that later become valuable. I don't know why collectors would lay off the black guy, but perhaps just because he's the black guy.

I know boys aren't going to buy the black guy, or waste a Christmas present on him. Finn's not even a pilot, he just runs around sweating and panting. At least we could throw Lando in the back of the Falcon in case we needed to rescue someone. That was Lando's purpose.

The Black Series Finn is shit. Actually, most of the new line of Black Series figures are shit. I'm not a toy collector or anything, but I have a few of the Black Series figures because I liked how detailed they are. I have Han, Chewie, the Stormtrooper and a TIE Fighter Pilot. They are all pretty awesome. But looking at the new figures like Finn, Rey, Poe, they all look pretty fucking bad. The paint apps are bad, the faces don't look like the characters, it's like a completely different toy line or some shit. The only one that I'd consider getting that I've seen in person so far would be Kylo, but even then I don't really like the lightsaber.
