Of all the shallow prequel criticism, "They Ruined Darth Vader!" is a dumb fucking argument. Why were you expecting Sith lords NOT to be edgy, whiny teenagers at heart? Dark side philosophy is supposed to be like, the polar opposite of stoicism. I totally expected Anakin to defect for completely selfish, stupid reasons.

I heard the best description of Kylo being purposely not Vader. We'll never get another Darth Vader instead we got a character who is trying to be Darth Vader without realizing or having the things that make him Darth Vader at the same time it's nice to see a Sith who isn't some super badass angry power house he's scared and unsure of himself which allows the dark side to hold him.

what pissed me off was the fact that apparently, kenobi is only 60 or so at most in the OT and Vader's in his forties. They needed to be at least 10 years older in the PT for the OT to make sense again.
