Hope they keep Darth Plagueis and the Darth Lord trilogy novels canon, they maje the prequels a lot better.

Honestly, the little parts they changed or added didn't bug me.

The new X-wing, Han winding up with a different ship because shit happens, even fucking Maz Kafuckup. I'm okay with it. It doesn't feel wrong.

I'm just mad they had to wreck the entire EU to get there, when this totally could have been set after basically all the books.

Don't tell me the main actors didn't look old enough to fit, and don't tell me after Dalla took the GFFA and suchlike there wasn't opportunity for baton passing, so to speak.

a majority of the post-jedi eu is all within 30 years, and around that 30 year mark another galactic civil war takes place which is clearly where the movies are now going, it could have all stayed in.

but instead we just get scraps of it.

Didn't the Empire sign a non-aggression pact with the New Republic only a year or so after Endor following Jakku? How exactly is that explained when the old Empire fought on for about 15 years after Endor in the previous canon?
