Whats the very first star wars book? One that deals with the very first battles after the universe was made,before jedi/sith and the force? Is there some kind of book order list so I can go from start to finish?

the novelization of episode 4 came out in 76, and the first expanded universe piece (also the backup sequel) was splinter of the mind's eye

Of course 'Legends' is going to be linked, since it actually HAS shit. Disney just has Chuck Wending and Solo's dindu wife. Besides, its not like theyre going to go back in time, theyre trying to go forward in the timeline AFTER ROTJ.

If you scroll to the bottom there's a timeline of every piece of Disney cannon media, including the novels (which there are now very few). Pretty depressing.
