In my opinion so far, the whole thing is a fuckery of good and bad in one being. Some things goes into full on fanfic territory and makes me thinks who wrote this shit with mediocre voice acting, but a part of it seem to be well executed on it's story and characters alongside some goods concepts.

Why does the community have a tendency to talk so much shit about Dimps?
The Advance games were good and Rush & Rush Adventure are probably my favorite handheld games from the series, sure Sonic 4 was pretty dull but Episode 2 made up for it, and the rest of their games were ultimately just mediocre. (Though I've heard the DS version of Colors is pretty good, haven't tried it myself yet.)
Am I missing something here? Is all this literally just because of Sonic 4?

This is a thread about Sonic news.
First off, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom has released worldwide on iOS and Android. This sequel brings faster gameplay along with some new elements, the first of which being Sprites. These cute creatures can be collected and evolved to improve your run. Also new to the game is the option to switch characters at any time. Yes, that's right. The characters actually have different abilities this time. There are also certain parts where you grind on rails, and you can use the Enerbeam to advance in parts of the stage. And, if you're feeling athletic, you can install a companion app into your Apple Watch that allows you to unlock prizes by tracking how much you run using the watch's built-in pedometer.
Speaking of mobile games, you better hurry because Metal Sonic is leaving Sonic Runners tomorrow at 9 AM UTC/2 AM PDT/5 AM EDT. Some new characters will be added starting 2 AM PDT/5 AM EDT in shifts following the favorably received Halloween Omega. Stay tuned for more information.
Sonic Lost World is coming to Steam on November 2nd. Sega has also hinted at high quality Steam ports of other past Sega games.
Sad as it is, 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be Sega's last installment in their 3D Classics line.

Let's ramble on about all dem animated adaptations starring our favorite blue needlemouse. I'll start with some shit I noticed while watching Sonic X season 3.
When Chris arrived on Sonic's world, it's been revealed that time passes much slower there, meaning only a few months passed when Sonic and co. left, while 6-8 (can't remember exactly) years passed on Earth. Here's where issue pops up.
Eggman himself hints he wound up on Sonic's world when he was very young, as it took him a while to realize Earth is his birthplace. It's been also stated that Shadow's creator is his grandfather, who died 50 years ago. Now let's say Eggman wound up on Sonic's world shortly after Robotnik's death…taking the mentioned time dilation into account, wouldn't centuries pass on Earth while Eggman grew up, not just 50 years? Then again, this show's writing was pretty inconsistent (though not as bad as Underground's).
