New character Halloween Rouge hits the scene from October 9, 2 AM PDT/5 AM EDT, to October 31, 2 AM PDT/5 AM EDT.

Halloween Rouge is more powerful than regular Rouge with a Score Bonus of 100%. If you want to get her on the Premium Roulette, you have a 6% chance of either getting her or Halloween Omega.

LER announced at the MIPCOM trade show today that Season 2 of Sonic Boom has entered production with Sega and OuiDO! Productions. Broadcasting rights have been bought by Discovery Kids Italy and MEGAMAX/Minimax Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia. Discussions are underway for TV contracts in Russia, English Canada (sorry Quebec), Turkey, and Benelux. There may even be a DVD or Blu-Ray release coming up.

The 25th anniversary logo has been spotted once again, but this time at Brand Licensing Europe 2015, on a mural of Classic Sonic and Eggman in Green Hill Zone. Speaking of Classic Sonic, Sega has REALLY been pushing the nostalgia everywhere. From money boxes and mugs to a Sega Master System booth; they're even giving away Classic Sonic bags. And, to top it all of, these images were (mostly) taken by Sega's very own Tadashi Takezaki. Usually, it's just the local staff who handle and run the run the event. This is the first time someone from Sega of Japan has been brought to oversee an event. Could this mean that there is something of high importance at Brand Licensing Europe which he has gone to oversee? And could this mean the 25th anniversary game is ANOTHER nostalgiafest?

You really think Sega would risk driving in the console market again? I mean, they might have a chance now seeing that theirs would have to be equal or greater then the rest of the big three consoles. Also, they've been recently started to port some of their games on to PC like Sonic Lost World. It would be better if Sega showed off their new console in the TGS or E3, not a Brand Licensing convention.

Oof! Man, Sega REALLY loves nostalgia. They took the time to sketch a giant Classic Sonic poster, make a "Gotta go fast!" reference, and acknowledge DiC's AoSTH/SatAM…

But it wouldn't be a brand licensing expo without brand licenses being handed out. Various "classic and heritage" designs are up for grabs for investors to use in various products. There's also a Christmas Sonic sweater, along with some other Sonic sweaters, and even an Ecco the Dolphin t-shirt, but there was too much commotion to take any clear pictures of aforementioned clothing.

In the first bit of news in a long fucking time, Japan's recent Sonic fan convention, the Sonic Appreciation Festival, has been for December 27th at Sega's Tokyo Joyopolis.

Over at the official page, appearances by Takashi Iizuka, Tomoya Ohtani, Jun Senoue, and Yuji Uekawa have been confirmed, along with live music, cosplay contests, autographic ceremonies, and exclusive merchandise.

More informed fans may remember that Sonic Runners was teased at last year's Sonic Appreciation Festival. Could the 25th anniversary game be teased at this year's festival?

I still to this day don't know why they didn't make a Sega World in the US.

First announced several months ago, info on Monopoly: Sonic Boom has been expanded by UK retailer Forbidden Planet.

It's set to be released November 30th at £29.99 and seems to be based on the Sonic Boom TV series instead of the video games.
