What would you want in a future Sonic title? Any parts of the previous Sonic games you would bring back, some new features, returning characters, new ones, etc?

A go-fast button is shit in a game that should be about building momentum. And what >>107 said. Spindash is already there and superior since it needs to be revved/charged to go to top speed so it stays true to the momentum building gameplay while giving you more control over how fast you want to go. Boost is you press a button and off at top speed you go, forever and ever since you'll be getting rings constantly.

Boosting would have been fine if it didn't end up an effectively limitless resource in most games it appeared in.

I liked it in Unleashed considering how you actually had to make sure it didn't run out.

An infinite source of invulnerability that speeds you up and also kills enemies is a bit too strong.

I like the idea of Sonic being able to boost, but I don't think it should overshadow the other things he should do.

Perhaps if it were a pickup or SA style upgrade with limited use it would have worked better.

Let's see…

Give me Sonic Adventure's open world but expanded upon. Sonic Adventure 2's gameplay with the parkour elements of Unleashed/generations I don't remember which one it was. With the graphics of Sonic Colors I like vibrant shit it looks nice. Multiple Character storylines each with a different playstyle. Ability getting and upgrading of course. And maybe the power ups from Colors/Lost World but they don't make the characters change at all it would just be a limited time item they could use.

I don't know if I left out anything important, but I think that about covers it.
