Holy crap snacks, didn't think making a writer's choice would rub a few the wrong way. As I mentioned, I had intended for a series of encounters with decreasing taming rolls with each one, as I liked the idea of a reoccurring opponent.
While there has been a case made for both sides, I'll probably just write our furry friend in for the next night encounter, which means would should see him again by the end of the week.
The downsides of every other day updates as opposed to sessions, is that a posts can be missed while writing, and I apologize if one does. I'll try to keep choices limited and clear from now on to prevent this in the future.

Five more tentacles begin to snake your way, you turn and spin, duck and dodge, slicing with expertise that was rarely seen outside of a master swordsman. You can see the totality of the dungeon, a musical note hovers over the runes on the runes on the floor, and you can see several frog creatures roaming flooded halls below. There is a treasure chest past them. Understanding that you could either leave, or pursue it, you ponder your choices.
