Greetings Storytiem, I am here to present you with a new thread of my favorite genre, Monsters vs Girls. Unfortunately, the only Monsters vs Girls thread present in this board has not been updated lately due to issues with The Carpathian’s work schedule. I am choosing to solve this crisis by ascending to the rank of author on this board and beginning my own Monsters vs Girls thread.
Things you should know:
1. This is my first time ever posting in this board, however I have followed most of the stories on here. Please note this is also my first time publically writing an extended story online, so all critique is welcome, as long as it isn’t similar to “You’re a piece of shit and can’t write for shit.” As well, I should inform you that I will try to update about once a day, but I live on a farm and my scheduling has to be a bit fluid, so I’ll ask for your understanding and patience if I take a bit longer to update.
2. The story takes place in a highschool, so you may want to plan your monsters accordingly. If there is enough interest in the story, I may choose to continue it in another thread.

It looks like you're starting with a ghost. The ghost floats silently through the air between the trees of the woods it has haunted since its death. It floats with no purpose other than maintaining the emptiness of its living quarters, as it has done for an eternity, when suddenly it feels a strange sense, almost a "tug", and falls under the control of a power greater than it. Following the directions of this new power, the ghost ventures to the tree line, where a hill gently slopes down to a highway. Looking further on, the ghost sees headlights heading its direction and ducks into the shade provided by the trees until the light has passed. Peeking out again it sees the car has stopped at an intersection and knows that it must take control of and impregnate the driver to continue the task of whatever now controls it.

Glad to hear you're all enjoying it, I'll continue on with it now. The ghost carries/drags the now unconscious woman back to the point of their encounter before he drags her into his woods. He returns to the highway when he is suddenly basked in a light descending from the sky. The ghost throws itself to the ground, believing its life to be ended, but feels nothing. Looking up the ghost sees a figure descending from the sky.

The ghost, under the direction of the power, searches the car and reveals a note on the woman's phone showing that the woman was a teacher at the local highschool. It appears she was driving there this late at night to take the female honors class on a trip to Europe. The ghost follows the highway for several miles before arriving ar the school. It has a large set of glass doors at the front, as well as smaller doors further along the front. Looking through the glass, the ghost sees the interior is incredibly well lit.

a) Recall him for some cash to make a new monster, he may not be the best for this job.
b) Attempt to turn off the lights from outside (will be difficult).
c) Go around the school to find other areas of entrance.

I'm inclined to agree with this Anon, as with your budget of $550 and no pregnancies, you could afford a basic skinwalker body without any mutations. I should also point out that a pregnancy can be used to halve the cost of either a monster body or mutation of your choice, and two pregnancies make the body or mutation of your choice entirely free.

I vote for spawning a plant monster with Hard Surface and Disguise. The Ghost can hit and run while the plant lies and waits. We could also grab things like forbidden fruit to lure people into a two monster trap.

Alright, it looks like a plant monster with paralysis spores and spikes is the most popular vote, leaving you with $100 bank. A ray of light shoots down from the sky, striking the concrete next to the ghost. As he watches, a single stem rises steadily, growing thicker as it comes. Leaves similar to a fern's sprout up alongside it until the plant itself is removed entirely by its root system, which it moves around on.

The plant slowly makes its way to the main doors, where it extends its vine and opens the door before proceeding. It finds itself in a rectangular entrance room, with the four glass doors behind it and four glass doors in front of it, as well as a solid door to its right. Looking through the second set of doors the plant can see a cafeteria with a staircase leading to the second floor, which has a balcony wrapping around the cafeteria. There are a number of potted plants immediately after the second set of doors.

I'll definitely be bringing him back in at some point, but given that the school is well lit and that light is the only thing that can kill off ghosts, I'm holding him back until the plant disables done lights. Of course if you come up with something for the ghost to do you can put it in as a suggestion for other players to vote on.

The plant enters the office, and finds a few empty desks, each equipped with an intercom system. It spots a map of the school on the wall (pic related), and chooses its next course of action based on the map.

we don't have much options here due to our plant being slow and theres barely a way to get the ghost to help unless we get it to possess someone or get it in a room with no lights.

(might as well sell it after we subdue a girl and buy a new monster).

Your career as an architect might be improved if you used the high-tech tool some call a 'ruler' and it might help if you used a machine known in the underbelly of society as a 'scanner'.

just a thought though.
