Requiesting Cassfags to make 'the best of Cassandra Cain' dump.

 No.7214

File order got fucked up here >>3120

Can you fix it?

 No.7216

>>7214

Unfortunately the mod tools at my disposal doesn't allow me to rearrange files.

The most I can do is edit text, put in a youtube embed, spoiler files or delete files.

If you or anybody uploads them in the wrong order you have to delete the post and reupload them in the correct order assuming you haven't dumped a ton of posts after that screw up.

I can edit the linked post to say it's in the wrong order, would you like that?

Please, do.

Honestly with these sort of requests you're better off asking /co/ what the best cassandra cain comics are.

I'll dump them if I can find em.

 No.7368

How about inviting >>>/comix/ guy here?

Also, you should post the board specs like bump limit, max count of threads that can exist at the same time, etc. where everyone can see them.

>>7368

I don't know how to contact him and it looks like he's abandoned it.

Max everything for bumplimit and pages

750 posts and 25 pages

 No.7370

Several more things:

1)In The Immortal Iron Fist, the annual and Orson Randall specials are meant to be read after #9. I fucked it up and posted them in the end of Brubaker/Fraction run instead.

2)I think that Brat Pack and Maximortal should be in the same thread titled "King Hell Heroica".

http://fourrealities.blogspot.ru/2011/04/king-hell-heroica-by-rick-veitch.html

There are also two specials which I didn't post because they serve as a bridge between Brat Pack and Maximortal and I was not sure where to place them. So, if you lift the unique picture restriction, I'll try to post the comics in the Brat Pack thread in the right order. Oh, and Maximortal is meant to be the 1st book whereas Brat Pack is the 4th, but, having read them both, I think the overarching story is more comprehensible when the books are in publishing order, at least right now, when the series are unfinished.

3)The books from Warren Ellis' Avatar comics trilogy (Black Summer, No Hero, and Super God) should be in the same thread, just to save some of the limited board space. Same as in the previous point here.

4)I started posting Yellow Kid but I didn't finish it because I keep finding the strips in better quality than I already posted and I think almost every strip needs the commentary that would explain it in the context of the late XIX-century American society. I swear, one day, I will find all the strips in a good quality and write the comments for them. In the meantime, you might as well delete the existing thread. Or not. It's up to you, Board Owner, really.

I'll do iron fist later.

I can't combine threads unfortunately. The best I can do is edit those threads to link to the other ones or delete them so you can dump them all in one thread for the avatar trilogy and the bratpack/maximortal duo

Just say if you want me to delete them or not

I'll leave yellow kid up until you decide to redo it.

 No.7372

>>7371

You can just permit the posting of duplicate files, I'll fix the threads, and then, you'll forbid it again and edit the OPs. Deal?

I'm done with Maximortal. Here is the compiled description stolen from Four realities and the Amazon, 'cause I'm lazy.

>The "King Hell Heroica" is the collective name for an unfinished series of inter-connected super-hero comics created and published by Rick Veitch, starting with BRAT PACK in 1990 (retroactively Book Four) and continuing through THE MAXIMORTAL (Book One) before ending, for now, with two issues of the BRAT PACK / MAXIMORTAL SUPER SPECIAL in 1996/1997. The specials outline the projected full Heroica at the time, including two more books set between the existing books (BOY MAXIMORTAL (Book Two) and TRUE-MAN, THE MAXIMORTAL (Book Three)) and several more specials providing a meta-textual bridging structure and final conclusion to be collected as Book Five of the Heroica.

>Rick Veitch's fierce and darkly comic BRATPACK has long been considered a subterranean classic of the genre. Veitch's no-holds-barred dissection of the hoary old 'kid sidekick' phenomena is as harrowing as it is hilarious; subversively subtle yet completely over the top. BRATPACK is an edgy and unforgettable dance macabre that is a must for every graphic novel collection. This comic is a companion volume to Rick Veitch's THE MAXIMORTAL and was nominated for "Best Graphic Album" in the Eisner Awards in 1995.

>Seven years before The Amazing Adventures of Kavelier and Clay, Rick Veitch married the larcenous history of the comics business to the outrageous themes and characters of his infamous Brat Pack universe, creating one of the most startling and uncompromising visions of the super-hero archetype ever put to paper. The Maximortal tells the origin of the ultimate heroic idea made flesh, and its hidden impact on 20th century history. Beginning with a thunderous explosion over the Siberian subcontinent, through the atomic devastation of Hiroshima and beyond, The Maximortal is a true epic told through the astonishing stories of the human beings caught in its ever-widening wake.

Note that Brat Pack should be read first because it makes the overarching plot of the series more understandable right now.

Also, I've found Ellis' quote regarding NextWave. Pls change the OP of the storytime, it's just too funny.

"It's an absolute distillation of the superhero genre. No plot lines, characters, emotions, nothing whatsoever. It's people posing in the street for no good reason. It is people getting kicked, and then exploding. It is a pure comic book, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. And afterwards, they will explode."

-Warren Ellis.

 No.7537

Finished dumping Warren Ellis's Avatar Press superhero trilogy. I think his quote about it is a good enough description.

"Black Summer was about superhumans who were too human. No Hero was about superhumans who were inhuman. Supergod is about superhumans who are no longer human at all, but something else. The third leg of a thematic trilogy if you like"

Do you know that there are two boards that store everything from halfchan's /co/, including win'o threads?

https://4ch.be/co/search/subject/official%20win-o%20thread/

https://desustorage.org/co/search/subject/official%20win-o%20thread/

Desustorage stores full images which is why it's less stable but their staff says they're going to import the dump from archive.moe, /co/ included.

 No.7893

Ah crap can't go over 300 posts anymore because the site likes to fuck up

 No.7894

>>7893

I think you should wait for a bit. I started having the same problem with new posts not showing up earlier but the threads were far less than 300 posts.

 No.8350

Hey, Board Owner, can you delete the post #8310 from the Sin City thread? I can see when I am on the main page but it's not there when I go to the thread, and I can't delete it myself anymore.

 No.8351

>>8350

Done

 No.8384

>>8351

Now it's the post #8383 that doesn't show up and won't let me resubmit the pages again. Well, shit.

Why do you hate Sin City so much, 8chan?

Does anyone have Deathmatch? I saw a storytime of it on /co/ before but didn't finish it before the thread was gone.
