NS-44 Commissioner, Planetside 2 - love the unusual reload.

Well, someone made a real one that fires 50 rounds of 9mm, and has an underbarrel shotgun rather than a 30mm grenade launcher and a functioning round counter.
Disappointed that its 9mm, but hey.

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. Thompson Submachine Gun, 1918 Quite ingenious how he discovered and implemented the Blish Lock mechanism and made one of the first man-portable machine guns. Without its late arrival to The Great War, the 20s wouldn't have roared. It still found use in the Second World War. It's also sexy with a drum (but heavy as fuck).

GP-1 Assault Rifle - Star Army
Cheap, reliable, plentiful. I'm surprised more people don't put this to use in the setting.
Luca's preferred distance weapon, his is modified by sticking a matchstick somewhere into the mechanisms to overclock its rate of fire into 600 rounds a minute, at the cost of having it only fire on full auto only. In addition, he regularly stocks 40 round magazines, iron sights with light guides and a folding stock.
Amateur and professional gunsmiths endlessly modified everything about the weapon, from basics such as swapping sights and stocks, to machining replacement parts out of exotic metals. Common modifications include folding and collapsible stocks, flash hiders, updated trigger mechanisms, and an extended magazine release button. While 20- and 30-round magazines are standard, gun stores regularly stock magazines that carry as few as four or five rounds, and can carry as many as 100 to 150 rounds.

YouTube embed. Click thumbnail to play. Minigun - just about ANYTHING Well I think Osaka or I had this amazing idea for a minigun that fires from both the top barrel AND the bottom barrel. How you'd implement the feed mechanisms to work that way is currently beyond me. In addition, another consideration is cooling. Solution? Make the barrels spin twice as fast - ergo, more cooling! This truly is the way to double your gun.BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT

>>1027 No, you're thinking of the two miniguns housed inside a larger mini-gun, like an O with two big eyes in it. The timings of the barrel rotations would always ensure the firing position was perfect using counter-rotation trickery.

idk, kinetic whip shield or something? Using a length of detcord or slow aether or plasma saber, spun like a poi from spools somewhere on the body. It would be light, give full body coverage and be out of the way when not used: momentarily activated using software. It seems to flicker in and out of existence, using thousands of revolutions of an arm a second and being super super fast to start and stop thanks to beam-drive in the frame's wrists and arm: One moment a saber, the next this bizzare spread-pattern. Its probably standard that a frame can have small arms/shrapnel armor but generally reactive and shaped warheads with a clever shot to the joints can put a frame down if the shot is in the right place. I can see this being a response to Lazarus' very own anti-frame weapons: It cuts shots in half before detonation and shrugs off frag and the blast-wave would be mirrored back too. Plus if would look so awesome. Fuck yes Turn-A has the best inspiration.
