A: The idea of the crest being the daughter. That's super badass. The "daughter" would be humanscale. Like that Y shaped i explained. Also I think the "main" Goddess' eyes would be closed. And that only one of their pairs of eyes (human scale or the giant) could be open at once. And the daughter can walk the earth in mortal form and summon the mother if she so chooses. By closing her own eyes so her's may open. In that way, the act of closing one's eyes and trusting the hands of another or the judgement of the world around you is to put your life into the hands of the goddess.
L: Is that why De'ala keeps her eyes closed?
A: Yes. She has them closed about half as often as she has them open. Always in deep contemplation and trust of the goddess.
