Golden Gate Bridge Suicide John Doe 10/08/15 (Thu) 22:04:41 403e7c No.11850
Seems jumping off it is pretty effective, as long as you don't mind coast guards and coroners handling your wrecked body.

They're going to put a net up. It won't work anymore.
Exit bag is more effective.

And even then I've heard that death occurs due to water flooding your lungs or something. There's a significant chance you'll feel pain.
Personally I doubt I can muster up the courage to jump off a bridge that high. I'd go with an exit bag or pentobarbital instead.

No thanks.

Last I checked, the progress on the suicide net was stalled. It might still be viable for a while longer.
Maybe we should all plan a nice big trip and give the GGB one last hoorah.

PROTIP: most people who jump off the GGB survive the impact and drown.
I'd advise against it.

the best I have is a 5 story building, will that be enough to kill me if I jump?

Not instantly.
Building-jumping is really messy, anyway. Just hang yourself.

That's a lie. Most people die from the impact. It's not a guarantee, and chances go down if you enter feet first.
I'm starting to think this board is being shilled with misinformation to make people doubt the effectiveness of methods

Also, it's quite likely the only reason those people survived is because they changed their minds.

People have the freeodm to make decisions that they might regret.
Furthermore it's likely that "regret" was survival instinct.
