I've read nicotine in its pure form is really toxic. Is it possible to extract it from cigarettes or something else to kill oneself? There are some instructions how to do it out there, but I doubt that the purity is good enough with the methods I've read about and won't be enough to end my life. Maybe some people here have more knowledge about this than me and/or some ideas.

You can order bottles of liquid nicotine from ecig sites. Or (supposedly) you can just eat a packet of cigarettes; the nicotine contained in a whole packet is fatal if consumed all in one go.

Not sure why you'd want to go out via nicotine poisoning though. Last year I had an accident with my ecig (still not entirely sure what happened beyond the fact that I didn't put it back together properly the night before while drunk) and got a mouthful of nicotine juice. Started spitting it out immediately and rinsing my mouth with water but still got a bad case of poisoning - let me tell you, it's fucking awful. You will feel like shit and definitely regret it.

There are better ways to go, man. Don't try nicotine unless you're genuinely desperate and other options are closed off to you.

My country has strict laws. Don't know how I would get N, Cyanide or anything else to easily end my life. :( I also don't own a car or a gun. The fear of doing something wrong with the suicide bag and a helium tank is too great. And I also don't know where to get a proper tank. I just don't really know what to do. To not get too many people traumatised, I want to avoid jumping from a building or in front of a train.

One can really just eat cigarettes to die? So there isn't even an extraction needed? Anybody else who has experience with it? Would it be easier to swallow if blended in with a smoothie?

Yes.

Although you'd probably need to take a strong anti-emetic beforehand. One of the major symptoms of nicotine poisoning is heavy nausea, so there's a good chance you'd vomit before your body has fully absorbed all the nicotine.

As for how many you'd need to eat? The lethal dose of nicotine ranges from about 500 to 1000mg and an average cigarette contains 20mg, so you'd need to eat anywhere from 25 to 50.

It's not a fun method. Only go for it if you're absolutely desperate and the only other choices available to you are even worse than death by nicotine.
