This is like planning to kill yourself by sleeping next to somebody, and expecting them to breath all the oxygen away.

Plants are viable (though normally painful), but you gotta know what you're doing.

While hanging is a great idea nobody ever gets it right. What most people do is slow, painful, and unreliable rather than near-instant and painless.

Flowers are easy to get hold of almost anywhere, they're cheap, and unless you write a note it won't be considered suicide. IF it would work then it'd be a fine idea.

The great Agatha Christie favored poison as her preferred means of dispatching unfortunate characters in many of her murder mysteries. One of the deadliest herbs, Monkshood, also called Aconite and Wolfsbane, certainly played a part. Torre Abbey in Torquay has a garden devoted to the plants that rear their heads in her work. Torre Abbey, built in 1196, is the largest surviving medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall.
